Attendance & Lesson Cancellation Policy

Attendance

Regular attendance is critical to the success and skill retention of your child. Please let us know as far in advance as possible if your child will miss lessons. If your child has an extended illness (more than 2 days), you will be given makeup days to be used anytime during the season (See Student Illness below). Otherwise, any missed lessons will be at your expense.

If you have a planned vacation, please let us know as far in advance as possible so we may schedule accordingly.

Student Illness

When in doubt, please call us for verification of your child's swim readiness. If your child has been given medication, please let us know prior to their next scheduled lesson. Your child will not swim if they have had a fever over 102, vomiting or diarrhea within the last 24 hours. If your child has an extended illness (more than 2 days), you will be given makeup days to be used during the season.

Cancellations - Weather/Instructor Illness

Lessons will be cancelled due to weather and instructor illness.

If the weather is looking bad please refer to our website for a weather alert or call us at 623-322-3668 for a recorded message regarding the status of lessons for that day. All cancellations related to weather will be made up at no cost to you.

Lessons will be cancelled due to instructor illness. Our student's safety is our top priority. We will not expose them to illness. We will make every effort to contact you well in advance of such cancellation. All cancellations related to instructor illness will be made up at no cost to you.
