Preparing for Lessons

This is an exciting time for you and your child. You are about to experience a life changing event. At Water Safe Kids you will always experience a positive and very productive environment. As a parent or caregiver it is critical that you are 100% committed to your child's learning. Here are a few things you as a parent must do prior to the start of your child's lessons.

Prior to First Lesson

  • Register with ISR online (prior to fist lesson)
  • Secure time slot (prior to first lesson)
  • Review Parent Handbook prior to lessons (prior to first lesson)
  • Print copy of Registration form received from ISR (prior to first lesson)
  • First week's tuition payable to Water Safe Kids

Prior to Lessons

  • Make sure your child is in appropriate swim attire.
  • Complete detailed and accurate BUDS sheet prior to lessons. This will help the instructor greatly.
  • Share with the instructor any information about your child with the instructor that may impact lessons.
  • Three towels
  • Verbal praise and positive reinforcement throughout lessons. This will reinforce what your child is learning in the water. This will make them feel good about themselves which will lead to success.
  • Speak positively to your child about lessons and their visit to the pool.
  • Ask your child to talk to you about what they are learning.
